Police on Sunday (January 2) managed to nab a robber, accused in the loot from SHG workers in Langaleswar area under Khallikote police limits last month.

As per reports, the armed dacoit gang barged into the house of Dinabandhu Das, the Bhubaneswar district organization secretary of BJP, in Bhotapada area late last night and attacked his family members with sharp weapons.

When the bus came to a halt, the group pretended to help the driver to divert the bus through some other route by saying that the road was blocked and it would be impossible to commute.

The duo confessed that due to Covid lockdown they were out of work and so they stole stolen six trippers from the region with the help of another person.
