With the administration of over 26.19 lakhs vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India's Covid inoculation coverage has reached 178.83 crore as of Sunday morning. This has been achieved through 2,07,34,782 sessions.
The daily positivity rate was recorded as 0.96 per cent while the weekly positivity rate was recorded as 1.06 per cent, according to the ministry.
The 2,53,739 active cases comprise 0.59 per cent of the total infections. The national COVID-19 recovery rate has further improved to 98.21 per cent, the ministry said.

India surpassed the one-crore mark in the number of cases on December 19, 2020. India crossed the grim milestone of two crore on May 4 and three crore on June 23 last year.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.94 per cent. It has been less than two per cent for last 63 days. The weekly positivity rate was also recorded at 0.78 per cent. It has been below one per cent for the last 22 days, according to the ministry.
