It is well known to every movie lover that Sholay initially received negative critic reviews and also had a bad commercial response. However, later it emerged as a box office success breaking several records. Even after all these years, the movie has clinched the first spot in the list of 'Top 10 Indian Films" of all time in the British Film Institute's 2002 poll.
Gabbar Singh's popular dialogue "Arrey Oo Sambha, Kitna Innam Rakhe Hai Sarkar Hum Par" takes a twist, "Kitna Bik Aur Kama Raha Hai Sholay". The brand Sholay is simply raking moolah for even minions.
