With the Regional Meteorological Centre of the IMD on Saturday confirming the formation of a low pressure over East-central Bay of Bengal, the Special Relief Commissioner of the State informed that the authorities of all government departments and various districts are executing their preparations on a war footing to tackle the possible cyclonic storm that may intensify from the low-pressure system by May 24.
