The debacle of Ranveer Singh's 83 at the box office can be an indication that big releases like KGF2 might also get affected by changing situations.

Shibasish Sarkar, Chairman, IMAC, and former Group CEO, Reliance Entertainment, said: "'83' is our labour of love. We would love for everyone to watch this film, and I'm so happy to know that through Picturetime's inflatable theatre, our film is reaching the interiors of the country, where a good cinema-watching experience is still a far-fetched dream."

Fans of the movie feel that there should be a sequel to 83 based on India’s 2011 World Cup victory.

Director Kabir Khan explained the toughest part of working on ‘83’ and the way actor Ranveer Singh got into the skin of his character and embodied former cricketer Kapil Dev. Film ‘83’ is based on true events of the Indian cricket team winning its first ever cricket World Cup in 1983 at the iconic Lord’s in London.

Rhea Chakraborty was recently spotted by the media at the screening of the ‘83’ helmed by Kabir Khan starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Rhea was seen sporting a mint green ensemble as she posed graciously for the cameras.

Actress Deepika Padukone, who is essaying the role of Kapil's wife Romi Dev too makes several appearances in the trailer.
