Deepika Charging A Bomb For ‘83’

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have worked in three movies together and all these three pictures have done very well at the box-office. So when Kabir Khan wanted someone really special to do the role of Romi, the wife of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, he thought of casting Deepika in the role. Ranveer had already consented to do the lead role for the film “83.”

Since the film is based on the life of Kapil Dev, his wife’s character will have very little to do onscreen. That is why Deepika Padukone was not ready to take up the role of Romi. However, when the producer agreed to pay her a whopping amount of 14 crores the diva said yes.

Of course, it has got a lot to do with Ranveer who did convince her for the movie. So, the fans of this leading couple from Bollywood will yet again see them together on the silver screen in this upcoming film which is sure to become a hit given the track record of this pair and also the excellent hold Ranveer has over his actions.
