Student Kidnapped for Ransom in Berhampur

Berhampur: A student has been allegedly kidnapped by unidentified persons from here on Thursday. K Mohan Rao, a builder in profession and father of K Ganesh Rao in his complaint said that some persons have kidnapped his son and are demanding a huge ransom against his release. The incident came to limelight when Ganesh, a BBA final year student at Khallikote College did not return from his visit to Salia dam under Baguniapada block of Khura district. He was accompanied by three friends.

Taking into custody the accompanying friends of Ganesh, both Ganjam and Banpur police are investigating into the matter.
