Mayurbhanj district the largest district of Odisha by area of 10,418 km². Mayurbhanj district shares it boundary to Jharkhand and West Bengal. Thick green forests, extensive meadows, twinkling waterfalls, meandering rivers, high peaks – entire diversity of nature is in one place. It was once the hunting place of the Maharaja of Mayurbhanj. Mayurbhanj is best known for Simlipal National Park which is the 7th largest national park in India. As per IMD, the system is likely to move nearly northwestwards across Madhya Pradesh during next 48 hours.
