Maoist posters seeking poll boycott surface in Odisha
Rayagada: Posters purportedly put up by Maoists urging people to boycott the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the State were found in Niyamgiri area of Rayagada district today.
According to reports, the Basadhara-Ghumusar divisional committee of the CPI (Maoists) have put up the posters in front of ‘Dangaria Kandha Unnayana’ office at Parasali panchayat under Kalyansinghpur block of the district.
Besides, the red rebels have also threatened to declare bandh at Lanjigarh in Kalahandi district and Kalyansinghpur, Muniguda, Bissamcuttack in Rayagada district during the first phase polls.
