BJD candidate Jagannath Saraka, BJP candidate Jagannath Nudruka, Congress nominee Nilamadhab Hikaka and Independent candidate Nilamadhab Ulaka are in the fray in the Bissam Cuttack Assembly seat in Rayagada.

As a part of its strategy, the grand old party has lined up prominent and veteran leaders like Priyanka Gandhi, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who will hit the campaign trail for their party nominees in the south, where a major chunk of the electorate are Telugu speaking people. 

Family members of Param Manding, wife of Satama Manding, contacted for an ambulance. But the ambulance couldn’t come to their village as it doesn’t have a motorable road.

An unfortunate incident was reported from Muniguda in Rayagada. Law Minister and BJD candidate for Bissamcuttack, Jagannath Saraka was campaigning at Raghubari village on Sunday when a youth BJD leader accompanying him allegedly attacked one person and abused the villagers, who raised the issue of drinking water crisis in the area.
