Cuttack: Twelve people were detained on Monday by the Commissionerate Police for questioning in connection with thegroup clash at Jhola Sahi in Cuttack.

On Sunday evening, two groups fought a pitched battle at Jhola Sahi following a quarrel over kite flying. Both the sides hurled glass bottles and stones as missiles injuring three persons including a police constable.

The situation calmed down after Cuttack DCP Sanjiv Arora and other senior police officials reached the spot and pacified the two sides.
