In a tragic incident, a Plus-3 girl student was burnt to death at her house in Bhaludunguri village under Bonai Police limits of Sundargarh district on Monday night (Dec 13). The deceased Sapneshwari Munda was reportedly a meritorious student of a college at Lahunipada. As per reports, late on Monday night, the girl was heading into her room holding a kerosene lamp.
A fire broke out in a hotel situated close to a mall in Rourkela. The fire was reportedly caused due to the explosion of LPG cylinder. However, no casualties have been reported in the mishap.
A major mishap was averted after a truck carrying LPG cylinders near Rasrajpur on Sambalpur-Rourkela Biju Expressway under Sundergarh Sadar police limits caught fire on Saturday.
