Bhubaneswar: The Centre has approved admission to Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) in Odisha.

The state government has received a letter to this effect from the AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy) ministry.

As per the letter, the ministry has approved admission of a maximum of 170 students to BAMS for which the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities would take up the counselling in the last week of November this year.
