JEE Advanced 2024: Registration begins today, know details

The registration for the JEE Advanced 2024, initiated by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, commenced on April 27, 2024. 

Prospective candidates aiming to apply for the IIT JEE examination can access the registration link directly on the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in. 

To be eligible to apply for the IIT JEE examination, candidates must rank among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2024, encompassing all categories. 

Additionally, candidates must have a birth date on or after October 1, 1999.

However, there is a five-year age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, meaning they should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.

Female candidates, as well as those belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories, are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 1600, while all other Indian candidates need to pay Rs 3200. The fee payment must be made online.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 7, 2024, while registered candidates must ensure fee payment by May 10, 2024.
