Bibhuti Patnaik to get Kendra Sahitya Akademi award

New Delhi: Noted columnist and novelist Bibhuti Patnaik will receive the prestigious Kendra Sahitya Akademi award for 2015 for his collection of short stories ‘Mahisashura ra Munha’. This was announced by the Kendra Sahitya Academy on Thursday.

Born on October 25, 1937, Patnaik joined the teaching profession as a college lecturer in the department of Odia Language and Literature in 1970 and retired as a Reader 1995.
