Jajpur: An old man died on Wednesday after stung by bees while cleaning a Shiva temple premise in Jajpur district, police said.

Gajendra Kumar Sahu (68) of Kalan vilage under Kuakhia police station area, who had been rushed to SCB medical college hospital last night after bee attack, died today, police said.

Sahu was among the three persons including a woman, who were attacked by the swarm of bees while cleaning the village Shiva Temple for Mahashivratri festival.

The two other injured Sukanti Sahu and Paramananda Sahu.
