Bhubaneswar: The State Assembly is likely to pass the Appropriation Bill for the months of April and May on Thursday.

On the last working day of the first phase of the Budget Session of the Assembly today, the House will discuss the education system in the State regarding which an adjournment motion was moved by the Opposition yesterday.

Apart from this, the House is likely to debate a motion on the alleged nexus between politicians and people with criminal antecedents brought by Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra.

The Assembly on Wednesday approved a Vote On Account proposal for Rs 16,402.82 crore for April and May.

The House will again sit from April 26 to May 20 to approve the full fledged Budget.
