Odia IAS officer BB Swain appointed Chief Electoral Officer of Gujarat

Bhubaneswar: Senior Odia IAS officer of 1988 batch BB Swain has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Gujarat as per the notification of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Bhubaneswar: Senior Odia IAS officer of 1988 batch BB Swain has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Gujarat as per the notification of the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Swain, who has replaced Anita Karwal, is replaced by Raj Gopal, IAS (1987 batch), Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport Department, Gujarat, who will hold additional charge of Principal Secretary, Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development.
