CM’s presence at Iftar made crowd joyous

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday turned up at an Iftar celebration party organised by the BJD in the city. Besides the CM, other cabinet ministers, party leaders attended the Iftar party hosted by BJD's Minority Cell President Munna Khan.

Patnaik, as a gesture of goodwill, allowed people including youths and children to take selfies with him.

“CM Patnaik is my favourite and we really like him. This is the first time that I saw him up close and also took selfie with him. Meeting him was really exciting,” a girl told mediapersons.

“People from across all religions come to the party and celebrate Iftar with us. Ramzaan is the holiest of all our months and we observe fast for a month. Every year the Chief Minister attends the party,” Munna Khan told newspersons.
