A purported photograph taken inside Puri Srimandir premises went viral again. The photo was posted on the Facebook account of one Anil Swain, posing a question mark on the breach of protocol at Srimandir, where photography is strictly prohibited.
According to sources, the photograph was taken by Anil with his friend by his side on the Srimandir premises. After the photograph surfaced, police are trying to trace the person.
Speaking to the media, Puri SP Pinak Mishra said, "We have informed the cyber cell to ascertain when this photograph was taken, to identify the person and the source of the photograph. They will look into it.”
Stating that the Cyber cell is investigating the matter, the SP said, "There is a protocol for Srimandir. Taking photographs is not allowed inside Srimandir. Once we find the person, who has violated the protocol, we will take action against him.”
