BJD MLA's PSO Accused Of Brandishing Gun, Threatening Congress Workers

Tension erupted at Attabira Police Station on Saturday as Congress workers lodged an FIR accusing the PSO of the ruling BJD MLA from Attabira, Snehangini Churia of brandishing a gun and trying to threaten them.

As per reports, the PSO and the driver of the MLA had a heated exchange of words with some Congress activists near Dumerpali chhak. Later, the PSO of the BJD legislator allegedly tried to threaten the Congressmen with a gun that too in presence of Attabira Officer-in-Charge Dilip Behera.

Meanwhile, the Congress workers have filed a case against the PSO and the driver of Churia alleging that the former threatened to kill them with the pistol.

A counter case has also been filed by the PSO and the driver at the Attabira PS accusing the Congress workers of thrashing them.

However, the police could not be contacted to comment on the matter.
