The accused has been identified as Chakradhara Ghana of Upper Kadakana village in Banspal.

Following an FIR at the Police station, the cops launched a probe to trace Nabata. The mysterious missing case was cracked on Saturday after Ghana confessed to his crimes and admitted that he had killed his wife in a fit of rage.

After the arrest of Ghana, body remains of Nabata including bones and some bangles were recovered from the Judia Ghat during a search in the presence of a magistrate, sources said.

Speaking to the reporters, Ghana said, “I loved her and we subsequently got married. But after an altercation, I could not control myself and strangulated her to death.”
