Brown Sugar Worth Rs 50 Lakh Seized In Bhubaneswar

Commissionerate Police on Friday arrested one person and recovered 575 grams of brown sugar from his possession. The cost of the seized narcotics is said to be around Rs 50 lakh. Bhubaneswar DCP, Umashankar Dash said that the accused was nabbed by joint team of Quick Action Team (QAT) and Badagada police. The accused has been identified as Bitu Khan.

“We are trying to ascertain the source of the narcotics substance and where the accused would have supplied it,” said Dash.
