Life has again imitated art and this seems to be a perfect replay of the 2006 Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao blockbuster movie "Vivah.” In a heartwarming display of love and commitment, a groom went ahead with his wedding to his bride despite her being hospitalized just like in the movie.

According to The Siasat Daily report, the marriage of the groom-Tirupathi, a native of Jayashankar Bhupalpally district in Telangana, was fixed with Shailaja of Lambadipally village in Chennur Mandal on March 23.

However, just days before the wedding, the bride got sick and was hospitalised.  She underwent minor surgery and was under the observation of doctors post-operation.

Since marriage could not be postponed as many believe it's a bad omen, the groom decided to get married in the hospital with mutual consent from the bride. Just as in the film, the groom stood by her side and married her in the hospital, giving her relationship goals.

Tirupathi, walked into the bride's hospital room with garlands and a Magalsutra, and the couple happily got married in presence of a few family members and hospital staff.

According to The Siasat Daily report, important marriage rituals such as Jilakara Bellam and Talambralu were also performed after permission from the hospital authorities.
