Lungi is one of the easiest to wear lower garments for men. Even it is extremely comfortable to wear a lungi while relaxing. This versatile garment offers multiple benefits than just being a garment. The use of lungi is more prevalent in south India and people prefer to use it as a traditional wear for different occasions, be it formal, celebration, or casual.

It is quite common to find men wearing lungis and walking on Indian streets. However, it might be a rare sight to find an Indian wearing a lungi in a foreign land. Furthermore, one may not find a person wrapping a lungi and walking to a shopping mall.

Here we bring a video of an Indian youth demonstrating the ‘power of lungi’ on a foreign land.

In the video, a lungi-clad youth can be seen at a shopping mall carrying a trolley filled with some items. The youth walks near the payment counter and empties his trolley. Further, the youth can be seen pulling out a carry bag from the counter but again puts it back and walks to his trolley.

He unwraps his lungi and spreads it on the floor.  One by one, he puts all the stuff on the lungi and ties it together. After making the payment at the counter, the youth finally picks up the stuff wrapped in lungi and walks out.

Well, as it seems, the youth was not in favour of paying extra for a carry bag at the shopping mall. And, he instantly made a ‘desi jugad’ to carry the stuff.

The video shared on Twitter by Hasna Zaroori Hai has gone viral on social media amassing massive views and being shared by users.
