Not all heroes wear a Cape. But, every person can become a hero in someone's life at some time. Helping others in need is undoubtedly a good gesture. However, when it comes to saving a life, the person offering help is certainly a hero.
What about a person risking his/her own life to save an animal from certain death?
In this age of social media, several such videos, giving a glimpse into heroic acts, go viral easily. Recently, a video surfaced on social media that shows a man risking his own life to save a dog from certain death.
In the video, a dog can be seen tied to a railway track by its leash. Suddenly, a man runs towards the poor dog and starts unfastening the leash. Meanwhile, a train can be seen approaching them.
However, instead of leaving the dog behind, the man loosens the leash from the track and jumps away while pulling the dog to safety. The train runs on the track unstoppably, but, the heroic man saves the dog at the right time.
Though the original source of the video couldn't be verified, it is shared on Instagram by pupss.acc. The video has garnered massive views and likes. Even the comments section is flooded with statements praising the man and some other users vented their anger at the person who left the dog on the tracks.
One annoyed user wrote, “Could you please give me a baseball bat and 5 minutes with the person who tied the poor dog to the tracks?” (sic)
Praising the dog’s saviour, a user wrote, “OMG That had needed courage , boldness , agility , speed , quick thinking , calmness , laser sharp focus , self sacrifice , bravery , physical fitness, compassion and most of all a big heart … Thank you” (sic)
“Wow what a hero, I send him applause and much love,’ wrote a third user. (sic)
Indeed, the man proved that one doesn't need a cape to become a hero in someone's life.
