Catch me if you can! Mountain goat drags snow leopard on steep hill, wins the game; watch

Leopards are talented and fast hunters. It is quite difficult for its prey to escape from their targets. Though small animals remain quite alert, the predator overpowers them. Technique, power and the timing of attack are all needed by the predators. However, luckily, some animals give a slip to the predators and save their lives.

Here we bring one such video of a snow leopard and a mountain goat that will leave you amazed.

In the video, the snow leopard is seen chasing the mountain goat on a steep mountain. Meanwhile, the goat is descending from the mountain. 

Suddenly, the leopard increases its speed and so does the goat. After chasing for a while, the leopard succeeds in capturing the goat from behind. However, the goat was strong enough to drag down the leopard applying its full strength. While the big cat seems to be in no mood to loosen its jaws, the goat also seems to be determined to save its life.

After dragging the leopard for a while on the steep mountain, the goat frees itself from the jaws of the predator. 

Immediately the goat dives into a river at the base of the mountain and finally saves itself from the leopard.

Indian Forest Services (IFS) official Susanta Nanda shared the video on Twitter with a caption describing the agility of leopards and mountain goats: Snow leopards have short forelimbs and long hind legs allowing them to traverse and stay agile in their steep and rugged environments. While Mountain goats have cloven hooves with two toes that spread wide to improve balance. Fight of the equals. (sic)
