The season for Indian weddings is in full bloom once again. As winter sets in, wedding banquets and married mandaps are all set to witness fairytale-style weddings. With these wedding ceremonies lined up across India, there will be no dearth of bizarre tales that are sure to entertain social media.

One such tale is already going viral in which a groom had to pull up some jugaad to finish his wedding vows after life interrupted his wedding plans. The groom who was down with dengue refused to let his sickness get in his way of marriage. So, he took his wedding vows inside a hospital.

Yes, you read that right! 27-year-old Avinash Kumar from East Delhi tied the knot in a hospital after he was denied discharge from the hospital because of low platelets count. Despite the unusual turn of events, Kumar decided not to postpone his wedding.

The scene straight out of a Bollywood movie was seen in the hallway of Max Vishali Hospital in Ghaziabad.

According to sources, Avinash was supposed to get married on November 27. However, his twisted fate landed him in the hospital after he was suddenly affected by dengue just four days before his marriage. As his condition did not seem to get any better, his family initially decided to postpone the wedding.

However, when the bride and her family visited Avinash in the hospital, they decided to get the couple married inside the hospital. The couple then tied the knot in the presence of family members and close friends.
