Top sports apparel company Adidas launched three new jerseys for the Indian team last week. These jerseys will be worn by the Indian men’s and women’s teams across three formats of the game starting from World Test Championsip (WTC) Final against formidable Australia at the Oval in England starting from June 7.

Though the new designs and colours have been appreciated by several fans and experts, some knowledgeable fans have found the resemblance of the new jersey with the popular football club Real Madrid’s shirt design. Fans have found uncanny similarities between the two kits.

Adidas, who has designed the new jersey for the Indian team is also the sponsor of Real Madrid.

Several fans took to various social media platforms to share their opinion about Team India’s new jersey for WTC final.

“So they will play test wearing Real Madrid kit??” wrote a fan.

“India’s new Test Jersey looks like Real Madrid’22 season’s home jersey,” tweeted another fan.

In response to the new design of Team India’s jersey, a third user commented, “So Real Madrid will make their first Test cricket appearance at the #WTCFinal, incredible!”

Notably, India will lock horns with formidable Australia in the World Test Championship (WTC) Final without a jersey sponsor.
