Known for his aggression on the field, Virat Kohli is a name that symbolizes determination, grit, and resilience. Virat is someone who is always lost in his own perfection to make India win matches and make a significant contribution. His courage to take on opposition, flair, and never-say-die attitude on the field makes him one of the complete player in the game of cricket.

Virat Kohli is known for his passion and determination towards the game of cricket where he has achieved a lot, created records, and scored centuries whenever India needed him. It is for this reason that Virat is being called India's chase master.

Kohli has already reached many significant heights in his life which is unparalleled.

In an interview with American Journalist and entrepreneur Graham Bensinger in 2019, Virat said, "My father used to do online share trading which was quite a big thing in 2006. Our business wasn’t doing great for my brother and we were living on rent. One day, his online shared trading suddenly crashed as one transaction went really bad and all the transactions he accumulated went down. The amount of stress brought onto him was huge, so he had a stroke, a clot formed in his brain."

"I had never seen him before in such a situation. My father’s body was moving differently, he wasn’t able to figure out where he was and it was like he lost total sense. After the operation, the left side body was paralyzed and his vision was compromised. My father couldn’t resist the pain, eventually after a couple of weeks he got a cardiac arrest.

There was no emotion left in me, I was totally blanked out. From that day, I changed completely," said Virat.

My coach the next morning asked me what you to want to do, I said I wanted to play, and he said Are You Sure? I said yes, because for me leaving a cricket match is not acceptable regardless of what happened in life, Virat added.

He went on to score 90 runs of 238 balls where he showed enormous grit in that match a saved the test match for Delhi.

In his 15 years, Virat Kohli’s journey has been full of many ups and downs. From getting tagged as a Run machine, to a disastrous tour of England in 2014; from getting hailed as the best India test captain and to not getting an international ton for 3 years, Virat has faced every challenge and stood victorious.
