Former India captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is known for his attitude. Dada (as Ganguly is popularly known) always believes in a tit-for-tat policy.

A day after the news broke out that former India captain and RCB star batsman Virat Kohli has unfollowed Ganguly on Instagram, Dada returned the favour by blocking the aggressive right-handed batsman.

All these developments happened following the handshake row during the IPL 2023 encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The incident took place after the match when the players of both sides were shaking hands with each other.

As per reports, the rift between Kohli and Ganguly has been going on for a long time now. Kohli stepped down as T20I captain under BCCI pressure and was subsequently replaced by Rohit Sharma as ODI captain during Ganguly’s term as BCCI chief.

Notably, Virat Kohli is in the form of his life during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). He has scored 214 runs in the current edition of the cash-rich league so far with an amazing strike rate of 147.58. He has smashed three half centuries as well.
