THIS Salman Khan co-star quit Bollywood to become astrologer!

Bollywood has seen several actors walk away from the limelight despite finding success. While some used their fame to build thriving business empires, others ventured into completely different professions, surprising fans with their choices. Among them is Tulip Joshi, who tasted success with her debut in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, but eventually quit Bollywood to become an astrologer.

A Career Beyond Bollywood

It's certainly a dream for almost every aspiring actor to make their Bollywood debut with big banners like Yash Raj Films (YRF), Dharma Productions, T-Series, Red Chillies Entertainment, et al. Tulip was lucky enough to debut with YRF and taste success. After her debut, Tulip appeared in a range of projects across Hindi as well as regional cinema. Films like Dil Maange More, Dhokha, and Matrubhoomi showcased her versatility, while Punjabi and South Indian films such as Jag Jeondeyan De Mele and Super broadened her reach as an actress. 

She also made a brief appearance in Salman Khan’s Jai Ho and featured in the TV series Airlines. Her ability to move between different genres and languages gave her a diverse filmography that stood apart from many of her contemporaries.

The Unexpected Shift

Despite this varied career, Tulip gradually distanced herself from films. Reports and her own official accounts reveal that she developed a deep interest in spirituality, Vedic knowledge, and astrology. Over the years, she trained extensively in Jyotish Shastra (Vedic astrology) and began offering consultations and workshops, guiding people on meditation, self-awareness, and spiritual growth. This new chapter in her life took her far from the arc lights of cinema.
