In a good news to the fans, after around eight months of staying away from the cricket since the horrific car accident, Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has started batting again.

Pant hit the ground to bat in Bengaluru for the first time in more than eight months on India’s Independence Day on Tuesday. A clip of the video has gone viral over various social media platforms. In the video clip, Pant can be seen batting comfortably in a local match in Bengaluru.

The video has garnered more than 16k likes on Twitter. Several fans have showered amusing comments in the comment box.

Reacting to the video, a fan wrote, “This just made my day. I hope we’ll see him bat for India very soon. Rishabh Pant is a true fighter!”

“Rishabh gonna achieve unparallel success in future. Now he has also got sympathy angle due to a horrible incident he faced. People are really loving him. I see him as next India's 3 format Captain,” another fan tweeted.

“Great to see him progressing on his health. From not being able to walk a few months back to now hitting the ball like before, superb,” a third user commented.
