New rules in IPL 2023: Teams to name final playing XI after toss; penalty for unfair movement by keeper
Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant finally has some good news for his fans. The star batsman, who was involved in a near-fatal car accident before New Year’s Day, took to his social media handle to give an update on his recovery.
Pant, who has undergone a number of surgeries after the accident, shared that he is finally able to sit out and breathe fresh air.
Sharing a beautiful picture of nature, Pant wrote, “Never knew just able to sit out and breathe fresh air feels so blessed.” The cricketer got emotional over the dramatic events that unfolded in his life over the last couple of months.
Pant is slowly recovering from the tragic accident but he still needs all the prayers from his fans to get back on his feet. Fans also sent good wishes after he shared his health update.
However, veteran cricketer Kapil Dev got angry and said, “I will slap you Rishabh Pant. Your injury has spoiled the team combination.”
“I love him very much. I want him to get well and when he gets well; I will go and slap him. His injury has spoiled the combination of the whole team. Then, there is also anger that such mistakes are made by today’s youth. Why do boys do it? There should be a slap for that too,” said Kapil Sharma on Uncut.
Pant’s recovery will take him another six months, but he might be ruled out of the World Cup and most likely the entire 2023. Pant’s absence is void and is being definitely felt by team India.
