India-origin New Zealand star batsman Rachin Ravindra is the latest sensation in the Cricket World Cup. The young sensation continues to shine as he plays a vital role in the team’s contribution.

Ravindra has already registered massive records to his name in this Cricket World Cup 2023. The New Zealand batting sensation is currently the player with most runs in a single edition of World Cup under the age of 25, surpassing the record of batting legend Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Ravindra also has now become the player to score most runs in a maiden World Cup edition, going past the record of England’s Jonny Bairstow.

Originally hailing from Bengaluru, Rachin has been in terrific form and has hit 3 World Cup tons in India. He can be a serious threat to the Men in Blue if they clash in the semifinals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, a video of Rachin visiting his grandparents home in Bengaluru has been going viral. However, it is a video of Rachin’s grandmother removing ‘nazar’ off him that has caught the attention of sports lovers.

A social media user shared the video and wrote, “Pehle hin Rachin World Cup mein top scorer hai. Ab Dadi ne nazar bhi utar di hai. God save india.”

In the viral video, Rachin’s grandmother can be seen doing ‘nazar utarna’ as the star player sits on a sofa and continues to watch her in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Rachin who has scored three centuries has already edged past South Africa’s Quinton de Kook to top the batting chart with 565 runs.
