A throwback video of Captain Cool MS Dhoni sharing his experience of his first meeting with former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been going viral and for all the right reasons.
In the throwback interview, the former Chennai Super Kings skipper is heard heaping praises on Ganguly and revealing a few unknown facts about him. Sporting a black inner, Dhoni candidly shares his opinion on Sourav and reveals the memory of his first meeting with the legendary Ganguly.
“Definitely, during my debut, we were on a Bangladesh tour, Sourav Ganguly was the captain. I had no interaction with him before that and I had never met him. I was very excited as I had heard a lot of good things about him as a Captain and as a person,” Captain Cool reveals.

He continues, “Ganguly is amazing as a person. If we look at him as a Captain, he is very fearless and does not fear from experimenting. He takes the responsibility even if the team performs well or not. He will never blame someone when the team is not performing well. He is indeed a real Captain and has always taken the responsibility on himself.”
“He leads from the front and is very expressive. He doesn’t keep anything inside him, he just freely and fearlessly speaks his heart out. I was really excited to meet him and learn a lot from him,” Dhoni added.
Even Sourav is very fond of Dhoni and the two share a very positive relationship. Earlier, during an interview, Ganguly even called Dhoni one of the greatest captains of Indian cricket.
Both Sourav and Dhoni have had a glorious career and are credited as the most successful captains of the Indian cricket team.
