Former Pakistan captain Misbah Ul Haq praised former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for using the half-bowlers to perfection during a recent television show. However, he was trolled by the anchor for his comment.

The anchor briefly interrupted him to remind about Indian all-rounder Joginder Sharma’s over in the final ICC T20 World Cup 2007.

“MS Dhoni was a master in using half bowlers to perfection,” said Misbah during the show.

However, the anchor mocked him by saying, “Who would know about it better than you.”

In response, Misbah didn’t react and continued to talk about Dhoni.

“Mohammad Rizwan is like that,” Misbah added.

Notably, Misbah had almost won the game for Pakistan by hitting some lusty blows against off-spinner Harbhajan Singh. However, the then captain Dhoni took a gamble by handing the ball to Joginder for the last over.

The Indian all-rounder was hit for a six and even bowled a few wide balls. Misbah was in complete control but threw it away by playing a shot which wasn’t needed and was caught by S Sreesanth. India won the title by winning the thrilling final.
