Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) speedster Naveen-Ul-Haq celebrated in a unique style after taking the wicket of Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma in the Eliminator match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday.

The Afghanistan pacer has been in great form in IPL 2023. While bowling his first over, Naveen got rid of Rohit and just gave nine runs. Rohit charged forward and timed Naveen’s ball well. But he played it in the air and failed to find the gap. It went straight into Ayush Badoni’s hands.

Naveen’s celebration was a treat to watch for the fans. He put fingers in both his ears and closed his eyes in a unique celebration. The video of Naveen’s celebration has gone viral over various social media platforms.

Naveen bowled brilliantly to finish his quota of four overs during the match and returned with impressive figure of 4/38. He also picked important wickets of Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma.

Opting to bat first, MI were restricted to 182 for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated 20 overs by LSG. Considering the slow track of MA Chidambaram Stadium, it should be a very good total.
