Subhadra Yojana: Grievance Redressal Module launched to resolve complaints
Odisha Deputy Chief Minister (CM) Pravati Parida on Monday launched the much-awaited Subhadra Grievance Redressal Module. The new portal will serve as a direct platform for citizens to connect with the concerned department and register their complaints.
Officials stated that, unlike in the past, when complaints often went unanswered, the department will now ensure that every grievance is addressed. Complaints filed through the portal will be reviewed at the block and district levels, and their status will be made available online for public access.
The portal will also clarify issues such as why certain beneficiaries were excluded from the Subhadra Yojana, the reasons behind such exclusions, and the process for re-inclusion.
Currently, 1.09 crore people are enrolled as beneficiaries under the Subhadra scheme. However, around 2.85 lakh beneficiaries have been excluded. Deputy Chief Minister Parida assured that steps will be taken to resolve the grievances of those left out.
“The Subhadra Grievance Module has been launched today. Earlier, we had a portal where beneficiaries could register their complaints. However, there was no redressal of their complaints. But now it will be a two-way process. People can register their grievances and we will also reply to them and sort them out,” the Deputy CM told while speaking to media persons.
“We still have to survey around 2.85L beneficiaries. In this grievance module, individuals can lodge complaints from the comfort of their own homes. So, after its launch, Subhadra has taken a full 360-degree movement in digitalisation, where we will choose, apply and listen to grievances all at one stop. So, we can say Subhadra has taken a 360-degree turn today,” she added.
