After registering a convincing 4-1 victory in the five-match T20I series against Australia, Team India is currently on South Africa tour. The series against the Proteas will start from December 10 with the first T20 match.

India’s tour to South Africa has always had its fair share of talking points. Back in 2006, Indian pacer S Sreesanth became part of the folklore after he hilariously sledged South Africa pacer Andre Nel after hitting him for a six during the second Test at the Wanderers.

On the third day of the Test, Nel had tried to get under the skin of Sreesanth. The Proteas all-rounder even told Sreesanth that he is not good enough. Sreesanth gave it back to Nel when he smashed the pacer over the head for a huge six and proceeded to do a little dance.

“I told them a lot of things. The message was clear; don’t mess with this Indian team. They always believed they wouldn’t get it back. I cared a damn if people thought I was mad,” Sreesanth said in an interview after the incident.

India went on to win the game by 123-runs, securing their first ever Test win in South Africa.
