Team India’s premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah has played a pivotal role in the ongoing Test series against England. Based on some brilliant performances by Bumrah, hosts India is currently leading the five match series 2-1.

However, as per reports in some section of the media, Bumrah will miss the fourth Test against England as the management and the selectors have decided to rest him to manage his workload.

Whether Bumrah will be a part of the fifth Test in Dharamsala or not could depend on the result of the fourth Test starting on February 23.

The Indian team will leave Rajkot on Tuesday and Bumrah will not travel with the squad. He will go to Ahmedabad from Rajkot. There is no information available on any other player getting rested.

Notably, Bumrah is the leading wicket-taker in the series with 17 wickets at an impressive average of 13.64. He has bowled more than 80 overs in the series so far.
