Ay Hero! Chappal mein ghum raha hai: When Rohit teased Tilak

After a convincing win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians will be looking to finish their campaign on a high note as they take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens today. 

The five-time champions have struggled with consistency throughout the season despite having seasoned players Surya Kumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah in their squad.

Meanwhile, a video has been going viral which includes former MI captain Rohit Sharma and his teammate Tilak Varma. In the video, Rohit seems to be teasing Tilak for wearing chappals.

“Ay hero! Kya kar raha hai bhai? Chappal mai ghum raha hai! Garden mai aaya hai kya (Why are you roaming around in sandals? Are in walking in a garden)?” Rohit said.

Tilak replied, “Hai na bhaiya Eden Gardens. (Yeah, this is Eden Gardens)”...

“Kya? Eden Gardens?” a slightly perplexed Rohit responded before bursting into laughter.

The word ‘garden’ will be fondly associated with Rohit, all thanks to his viral dig at his India teammates earlier this year.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders have been outstanding in this IPL. With notable contributions from Sunil Narine, Varun Chakraborty, Phil Salt and Andre Russell, KKR will look to break the jinx of lifting the IPL for the third time after 2014.
