In a bizarre incident, a South African woman has been hogging the limelight for seeking a refund from her wedding photographer after ending up in divorce. The woman sought a refund from the wedding photographer after her husband divorced her after four years of marriage.

A WhatsApp chat of the woman’s unusual demand has now been going viral on social media. The photographer named Lance Romeo shared the screenshots of his chat with the woman that has started a debate on social media.

“I swear my life is a movie. You can’t make this stuff up,” read his caption.

The woman’s message reads, “Hi Romeo how are you? I don’t know if you still remember me. You did photoshoot for me at my wedding in Durba in 2019.”

Romeo replies, “Hey, I’m okay thank you. Trust you’re well, yes I remember. How may I be of service.”

The woman then replies, “Well I’m now divorced and those pictures I and my ex-husband don’t need them anymore. You did a wonderful job on them, but they want to waste as we are now divorced, I will need a refund of the amount we paid you because we don’t need them anymore.”

To which, Romeo replies, “Pardon me? This has to be a joke right?”

Again the woman replies, “No dear I’m very serious.”

Then, Romeo replies, “I’m very sorry to hear that you and your husband divorced, but as I’m sure you can figure out that that’s not going to happen. Photography is a non refundable service once I’ve already delivered to you the service and the pictures. I can’t refund you because I can’t untake the pictures.”

To this, the woman threatens to sue the photographer and writes, “You will be hearing from my lawyer. I’ve forwarded him everything. Sharp!”

This shocked the photographer who replies, “Lol! I’m sure I’m still being pranked. There’s no way I’m going to refund. Look, I really sympathise with you on the divorce, I can imagine what you went through, but this is not the way to deal with it. Other than that, there’s really nothing more I can do for you.”
