'Love Guru' earns Rs 163 crore just by teaching women how to marry rich men

A Chinese Love Guru is reportedly earning a whopping 142 million yuan (approximately Rs 163 crore) just by teaching women how to marry rich men. The woman, a popular social media influencer in China, is lovingly called ‘love guru’ by her customers.

Her real name is Le Chuanqu and she provides relationship and financial advice through social media platforms. Her unconventional approach has helped her earn a substantial fan following along with crores of rupees.

According to the South China Morning Post, Le views relationships and marriages as a means of achieving financial independence. Most of her customers are women whom she encourages to be manipulative and engage in romantic relationships with rich men.

As per the report, she refers to being married as ‘inside the fortress’ money as ‘rice’ and pregnancy as ‘carrying a ball’. A viral video shows her stating, ‘All relationships are essentially about benefit exchanges. Everything should be used to boost and empower me.”

She charges a whopping $155 (Rs 12,945) for a one-on-one consultation during her live-streams. This apart, she has launched popular courses like ‘valuable relationships’ costs $517 (Rs 43,179), and private counselling $1400 (Rs 1,16,927) per month. She also organises workshops and seminars where she offers in-depth guidance on strategies for dating rich men.

Earlier, she was banned from ‘Weibo’ platform for promoting unhealthy and incorrect relationship views. However, she continues to use AI techniques to promote her business. People on social media are divided over her views.

While some find her to be realistic others find her to be hypocritical and teaching women to objectify themselves and use men for financial gains.
