Woman dies while mourning neighbour’s death at hospital in Balasore

In a tragic incident, a woman in Balasore’s Nilagiri reportedly died while she was at the hospital to see her neighbour who had passed away the night before.

A pal of gloom descended on Kadambasahi village in Nilagiri on Monday morning after the news of their deaths came from the hospital.

As per reports, Savitri Nayak from Kadambasahi village had breathed her last at Nilagiri hospital on Sunday night. Hearing her death, Savitri’s neighbour Subasini Mediniray went to the hospital to see her for the last time.

After reaching the hospital, Subasini saw Savitiri’s relatives crying and mourning, following which she too started crying and went into a state of shock.

In no time, Subasini reportedly collapsed on the hospital floor beside Savitri’s bed. The doctors after checking her, pronounced Subasini dead.

Her husband, Sanjeev Kumar Mediniray said, “Though Savitri was not our relative, but she was quite close to my wife. They used to speak quite often and go to each other’s houses.
