A couple from Madhya Pradesh devised an innovative means to smuggle ganja from Odisha. They thought that writing ‘media’ on a car and smuggling ganja in the vehicle would be the safest way to divert the attention of police and excise officials.

However, their plan to smuggle the contraband from Boudh district in Odisha to Madhya Pradesh was scuttled by Excise officials in Sonepur on Sunday.

As per reports, Excise officials of Sonepur received a tip-off about the ganja trafficking and followed the car on Sonepur-Binika Road. They finally intercepted the vehicle at Kartang Chhak.
