Odisha’s largest media house, Odisha Television Network (OTV) organised a health check-up camp for its employees on its premises on Friday.

The camp was held in association with Care Hospital to provide health screening for the employees who do not get enough time to do the same outside because of a busy schedule.

Checkups included ECG, Fibro Scan (Liver), Nerve Conduction Screening, Pulmonary Function Screening, eye check-up and screening, blood test for diabetes assessment and other check-ups like BMI, Pulse, SPO2 and RBS.

Apart from the checkups, the employees were provided free doctor consultations in General Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Dental, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology and Pulmonary departments.

Speaking on the occasion, OTV Digital Business Head, Litisha Mangat Panda said, “For OTV, the health of its employees is of paramount importance. Given the busy schedule some of them find it hard to spare time to get their health checked up. Apart from that we are witnessing a lot of diseases which are making them ill. So we have teamed up with care Hospital to organise a medical camp at OTV premises where a team of doctors are conducting all the tests.”

“Health is wealth. So we have organised this camp keeping in view the wellbeing of our employees,” she added.

“We have seen a lot of complications among people post Covid. We have come here to conduct health screening for the employees of the media house because they have been doing a tremendous job in collecting and providing news. We wanted to give the media professionals the best medical care possible," said the HCOO of Care Hospital Bhubaneswar, Kislay Anand.
