OPSC Recruitment: Notification Out For 335 Post Graduate Teachers Posts, Check Details

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of post graduate teachers for 17 stand-alone government Higher Secondary Schools under the department of School and Mass Education.

As per the notification, 335 post graduate teachers’ post will be filled up under this recruitment drive.

The link for registration/ re-registration will be available on the OPSC website from December 18, 2021. The last date for submission of registered online applications is January 9, 2022.

Post Graduate Teachers Vacancy Details

Total Posts: 335

Pay Scale: Level 10 and Cell-1 of Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual dearness allowance and other allowances as prescribed by the Government of Odisha.

The posts are temporary but likely to be made permanent.

Out of the total 335 posts,13 posts are reserved for Persons with Disability, 10 posts reserved for Ex-Servicemen and 3 posts reserved for Sports Persons.

Age: A candidate must not be below the age of 21 and above 32 years for fresh candidates as on January 1, 2021. The maximum age limit will be 45 years for in-service candidates from the feeder cadre (TGT for Government High Schools under the Department of School and Mass Education) as on January 1, 2021.

The upper age limit shall be relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to categories of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen and Women by 10 years.
