OPSC announces date for Odisha Civil Services prelims, check details here

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Monday announced that the Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2024 will be conducted on October 12, 2025 (Sunday). 

The notification, issued under Advertisement No. 07 of 2024-25, confirmed that further details on the examination schedule, venues and specific instructions will be published later on the commission’s official website.

Instructions For Candidates

OPSC has advised all candidates who have applied for the Odisha Civil Services Examination to regularly check its official website, http://opsc.gov.in, for the latest updates. 

The commission had earlier issued a notice on May 15, 2025, regarding the recruitment process for this examination.

Document Verification For OCS 2023

Alongside this announcement, OPSC also released the programme for Document Verification and Personality Test for the Odisha Civil Services Examination (OCSE) 2023, conducted under Advertisement No. 20 of 2023-24. 

According to the notification, the verification and interview process for 806 provisionally qualified candidates, including 293 women, will be held between September 6 and September 18, 2025, excluding September 13. The process will take place at the OPSC office located at 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001.

Mandatory Guidelines

The commission has directed candidates to produce original documents along with self-attested photocopies during verification. It has also warned that failure to present the required documents will result in rejection of candidature.
