OSSSC RI, ARI, Amin recruitment: Fresh examination schedule announced, check details

Following the Orissa High Court’s directive, the Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has issued a fresh notification for the Preliminary Examination to recruit candidates for multiple posts, including Revenue Inspector (RI), ICDS Supervisor, Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), Amin, and Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS).

As per the notification, the recruitment process, conducted under the Combined Recruitment Examination–2023 (IV), will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across all districts of Odisha. The exams are scheduled to begin on October 8, 2025, and will continue until the third week of November 2025.

Applicants can download their admission letters from the official OSSSC website (www.osssc.gov.in) by logging in with their user ID and password. The Commission has also advised candidates to make use of the mock test option available on the portal in order to familiarize themselves with the CBT pattern. No physical copies of admission letters will be dispatched by post.

This development comes in the backdrop of the Orissa High Court’s July 30 decision, which quashed the previously held RI and Amin examinations due to reported irregularities and violations of recruitment guidelines. The verdict effectively cancelled the entire 2023 recruitment cycle, including both Preliminary and Main examinations. The main exam was originally slated for August–September 2025.
